Indic LLM

Indic LLMs are built or adapted for the linguistic realities of India: many languages, multiple scripts, romanized writing, code-mixed English-plus-local-language usage, speech from telephony channels, and domain terms from Indian public services, finance, healthcare, education, and commerce. The key evaluation question is not only whether the model knows a language, but whether it handles native script, Latin transliteration, code-mixing, dialectal variation, and task-specific correctness in production.
